In which situations should a kraft container airbag be used?

Our Priority is the Safety of Your Cargo

During transportation, the sliding, tipping, or collision of cargo within containers causes serious material damage. Kraft Dunnage Bags are designed to keep your cargo in its original condition until it reaches its destination, thanks to their multi-layered paper structure and high friction coefficient.

Structure of Kraft Dunnage Bags

These dunnage bags consist of two main components:
Inner Layer (Polyethylene - PE): A highly elastic inner bubble that provides airtightness.
Outer Layer (Kraft Paper): Multi-layered (2, 4, 6, or 8 layers), durable kraft paper. This outer surface determines the physical resistance and load-holding power of the dunnage bag.

Why Choose Kraft Air Cushions?

Kraft cushions offer unique advantages, especially for certain load types and transport conditions:
High Friction Coefficient: The texture of kraft paper is less slippery than plastic surfaces. This provides a tighter grip between pallets or boxes, preventing the cushion from moving.
Excellent Rigidity: When inflated, it takes on a very rigid structure. This "wall effect" provides a great advantage in stabilizing heavy loads.
Environmentally Friendly and Sustainable: It is produced from 100% recyclable paper. It is an ideal choice for environmentally conscious markets (especially European countries).
Economical and Effective: It is applied much faster than other fastening methods (wooden support, etc.) and reduces labor costs.

When Should Kraft Be Used?

In dry food and consumer product shipments. In container shipping where humidity is not very high. In securing products in paper or cardboard packaging (excellent surface adhesion). In export operations where environmental regulations are strict.
Important Note: Kraft air cushions can be sensitive to moisture. If you are shipping overseas and on a very high humidity route, you can also consider our moisture-resistant PP (Polypropylene) air cushions.
